Ärkasin ühel öösel üles ja kuulsin, kuidas isa ja ema laua ääres küünlavalgel vaikselt omavahel kõnelesid.
Teritasin kõrvu.
“Kui poiss kooli lõpetab, siis peaksime talle uued saapad ostma,” arutas isa.
Panin silmad ruttu kinni ja proovisin uuesti magama jääda.
Hommikul ei mäletanud ma öisest jutust õnneks enam midagi ja seepärast läksin rõõmsalt kooli.
